Profile: My name is Christine Faint I breed Afghan Hounds under the CADIZ Prefix in Adelaide South Australia.
I judge the Hound Group and the Utility Group at Championship Level (Afghan Hound and Pyrenean Mountain Dog Specialist) also a trainee judge for the gundog group. I have enjoyed judging in several States of Australia.
I have been involved in Afghan Hounds for over 30 years, the Cadiz Kennel owning and showing multiple Speciality BIS winning Afghans. Cadiz Pyreneans produced over 30 Champions. After my retirement of breeding the pyrs I decided to breed Afghans under the Cadiz prefix in 2003. Cadiz Kennels have shown, bred or owned dogs that have won a combined total of 90 Best in Shows
